Short Stories

Here are the short stories that I’ve written over the years. Some are inspired by other works, books and movies, while some are completely original.

Evil Dead Short Story

Back in 2012 I had a dream about being in an Evil Dead movie scenario. I woke up and write this little story.

One Of Those Nights

This was a stream-of-consciousness story, following the dark thoughts that plague someone with depression. I chose this style of no breaks because that’s how this person feels, no break from the onslaught of negativity. It just keeps coming like water thundering over a cliff.

Goodbye

Back in 2012, two years after my father passed I wrote this story about my final goodbye

The Call Girl

My foray into erotic fiction. I have written more scenes like this and included one in my novel, The Shakespeare Folio.

Jetskiis

The unfortunate story of how my friend and I crashed a couple of jetskiis.

Bloodlust

I wrote this story as a hybrid of Dexter meets True Blood. For the most part it’s a vampire who only kills and feeds on degenerates and people who deserve death. A vigilante vampire, if you will.

She Talked To Me Today

I was in midst of reading Something Happened by Joseph Heller, having also finished Catch 22 and was inspired to write in a stream-of-consciousness style about a guy who has a crush on a girl at university.

Christmas Nostalgia

This was not so much a short story as a therapeutic way of dealing with loss. I talk about facing the Christmas traditions my family would do but how different it will be and has been, after my father passed.
