Hanging on to the life it had,
The future looks to vast
Gripping, holding, sticking to
The life that was the past

But to carry on, continue forth
Let go of it all
Just like the leaf, stuck to the branch
We must learn to fall

But nay is the fall, the bitter end
It is a step, a part
So we may learn, to rise again
With life so full of heart
